Pretty much original inside!
It really looks like it belongs with the house. Definitely planning a fresh coat of paint sometime, but not sure if the yellow will stay.
Shasta made trailers like this in at least four locations across the US, ours was made in Pennsylvania.
After a couple of years of talking and several months of looking we actually have a vintage trailer. It's a 1963 Shasta Airflyte, old enough to be interesting and new enough to be an achievable restoration project. The Airflyte model was introduced in 1959 and they were pretty much like this one until 1964. It was one of the most popular campers of it's time so there's a lot of info available on the web to help with a restoration. We hope to get it into shape to be back out camping by July of 2008.
