Fender Well removal

Removed the curb-side fender well. Noting left of the bottom edge of it, only one nail was holding it in place. Now it's easy to check on the tire from the icebox. I think I'll make some kind of linkage to turn a crank so that we can make ice cream while we drive. I'm really going to make a cardboard pattern and see if I can find a sheet metal shop to make new fenders, the other side is not as bad but probably should do both.

Panels really going in

The new panels are fit, stained, shellaced and now installed. The rear gaucho bed is back together and the front dinette supports are mostly done. I need to add a plywood panel on each dinette support as we are replacing the old sbox spring style seats with foam cushions.

Trotwood Camper

Saw this Trotwood camper in the woods off a small road near Letchworth State Park. Looks pretty cool but that front corner has a pretty big gap in it!

Rear Wall panels

Ended up splitting the rear panel into two sections as I could not find 1/8" birch or ash in a large enough piece to get the 7' span without a seam. Mostly behind the couch and I'll add a trim strip like most of the original panel seams. Insulated with foam sheet and re-installed the old fiberglass layer as well.

Upholstery taking shape

Fabric for new dinette seats and rear gaucho is all cut. Lot's of work to get to this point!
