Don't do this!

Ended up taking the front window entirely apart in oder to replace the broken glass in the fixed panes. I don't recommend doing this. It took us something like 6 hours to take it apart and another 6 to put it back together, not including time spent making it look nice.

Closing up the seams

Re-installed the gutter edging and sealed seams with new butyl tape and TremPro/Vulkem urethane caulk. The edging had been off for so long I was just used to it being that way. Looks a lot more finished now.

New Axle & Spings

Got the new axle and leaf springs today, can't hang it until the new fender wells are ready. I had the axle built locally but ordered the springs via the internet so I could use the same hangers without welding new ones onto the frame. Modern leaf springs are typically shorter than what was there originally. The springs also have bigger eye's than typical these days, I still need to solve what to do about bushings that fit.

Fender Skirt repair

Replaced all the wood behind the outer wall in at the fender skirt. I used epoxy resin and PVC tubing clamps from my boat building projects. Really nice and strong now, the wall used to be pretty floppy in this area.
