The rear bunk looks like it's never been used. Thinking about trying to build a rigid slide-out bunk to put in it's place or perhaps even over the dinette in front. I need to look for some reference for how to do it so that it looks original and is out of the way when not in use. Seems like there should be a good solution but the canvas one is interesting except for the middle support breaking it into the two.

We used that canvas bunk when our girls were small and they loved it! Not sure it would hold up to adult weight but was perfect for the kids.
